It’s the very foundation to starting crochet. Let’s review the slip knot and learn how to hold our yarn.
Let’s learn how to make a simple chain.
All about the Magic Circle. It’s how we start our amigurumi crocheted animals.
How to make the Magic Circle. Take your time and be patient with yourself. You can do it! This skill will be covered several times in the following animal tutorial videos. If you don’t fully get it here, do not worry. Just keep following along and practice!
Here we provide TWO MAGIC CIRCLE HACKS. We understand that sometimes it can be tricky to learn the magic circle. All of our tutorials are started using the traditional Magic Circle that we have shown you in the previous video.
BUT, If you are having trouble with the traditional method, check out these two hacks. They are much simpler and you cannot tell the difference from the traditional method!
Here we tell you all about yarn tension. Consistency is key! You will get better with practice.
Here we are introducing what an “Increase” is. Don’t worry if you don’t fully grasp the concept right away. You will get more practice when you start working on your animals.
In this video, we are introducing a “Decrease” That means your work will be getting smaller. Go ahead and practice, but we will cover it again in detail during the animal tutorial.
Here we are introducing the “Slip stitch”. You will use a slip stitch to connect pieces together on some of your pieces. Again, do not worry too much if you don’t fully understand it here. It will be covered in more detail during the tutorial.
